On addiction of Younger generation to adult films

Shri Karthik asked: Swami, I seek Your divine guidance on a sensitive topic that pertains mainly to people of the younger generation.

[My question is to do with watching pornography or films with explicitly sexual content. In today's society, we are constantly exposed to sexually arousing imagery through films, TV and the internet. For someone who lives in a modern city, it is nearly impossible to totally avoid this kind of content. Modern society in many aspects has become hyper sexualized.
Some are affected more easily by such sexually inciteful content than others depending upon their samskaras and external circumstances. You have many times told us that suppressing one's bad qualities is not the right way. Instead, one needs to divert these qualities to God. How is it possible for an ordinary soul to divert his/her lustful nature towards God and effectively prevent the loss of energy spent in lustful thoughts and actions?]

Swami replied: Anything diverted to God becomes good and anything diverted towards the world becomes bad. The good and bad lie in the direction and the goal. The same key in the same lock turned to one direction locks the doors and turned to opposite direction unlocks the doors. All things thought as bad by you become good if the direction is towards God. All things thought as good by you become bad if the direction is towards the world. Pure sandal paste submitted to the drainage becomes impure mud only. Impure material submitted to fire becomes sacred ash.

Sex is a noble and divine sacrifice done to extend this humanity (prajaatamtum... Veda). Eating food and drinking water are also noble sacrifices done to give energy to this body to do service to God. Hunger, thirst and sex are biological needs of the body, which should not be treated as bad or sinful. The Gita says that legally permitted sex is divine since it generates human beings of future generation to continue the entertainment of God (Dharmaaviruddhah kaamosmi). As you eat food while hungry or drink water while thirsty, a human being is entitled to have sex when such desire arises. As soon as youth starts after the childhood, marriage was done in the ancient times. Youth is the starting time for such desire. Marriage has nothing to do with the settlement of materialistic life. As soon as any soul is born on this earth by the will of God, the basic needs are already provided by God. Even the sinner is maintained by God. Even the atheist is maintained by God. A criminal jailed for anti-government activity is also given food and shelter in the jail by the government. If this faith exists, marriage has no link with settlement of materialistic life. Even after settlement of materialistic life, if marriage is done and issues are not born, how do you justify the link between marriage and materialistic life? The materialistic life becomes happy even if the basic needs are served. This concept is not maintained now. Now, the settlement of materialistic life means the fulfillment of endless desires. Hence, the marriage is delayed. In the childhood, education must be over and as soon as youth enters, married life shall start (shaishavebhyastavidyaanaam, yauvane vishayaishinaam). Now, the education is over when the youth is over and marriage is done in the beginning of old age! Justified earnings must serve the purpose of pacifying hunger, thirst, etc. Similarly, justified marriage must serve the need of pacification of sex. Since education continues in youth, the mind is neither absorbed in learning nor involved in the legal sex. All this is mainly due to the fundamental mistake of the very foundation-system of the society. The desire for sex in the body is the bell-ring for performing the marriage. One cannot concentrate on God while suffering with hunger and thirst. Similarly, one cannot concentrate on God while suffering with the desire of sex. Sex is very natural symptom like hunger and thirst of a biological system and these symptoms are parts of the plan of divine creation itself. Once these symptoms are pacified by the legal arrangements (like eating food, drinking water and marriage respectively), concentration on God is quite possible in any age of the body. Rama got married in the age of 12 years and Sita was in the age of 6 years. Of course, the conditions of health in that time of Treta age were quite different compared to the same of this time of Kali age. The basic point that is to be observed is that the marriage was performed as soon as the youth started. The desire for sex is the divine signal light given by God for performing the marriage. When legal arrangement is done in proper time, there is no need of desire for illegal arrangements. Even in the case of human incarnation, these biological needs continue because the human being-component is an ordinary biological system only like any other human being. Of course, if the God-component wishes, any biological need can be fully controlled. Such control becomes possible only on the wish of God-component and not by even the hectic effort of the human being-component! Resisted legal sex in the proper time only leads to all such disturbing factors. Either the need shall be controlled by God or shall be legally pacified by the human being in the need of the hour. Except these two ways, there is no third path to control these basic biological needs created by God Himself! This is the precise pin-point answer to your frank question.

Naaticharaami - explained

Shri Anil asked: Padanamaskaram Swami!

Is polygamy a sin? Kindly please analyze 2 cases: 1) Draupadi married to 5 pandavas and 2) Holy Mohammad married to several women (13 wives).

Swami replied: This issue is related to pravrutti or justice and injustice involved in worldly life. Following justice and avoiding injustice are also the commandments of God and hence the background basis of pravrutti is nivrutti only. The justice is made clear by certain positive rules (Vidhi Dharma) and the injustice is negated by certain negative rules (Nishedha Dharma). To speak truth is positive and not to speak a lie is negative rule. Apart from these two types, there is a third type of justice, which is called as dharmasukhshma (application of rule on analysis). If a rule is applied in emergency to save your life, it is called as exception in emergency (apatdharma). In this way, the rule varies within the marginal boundaries of justice from place to place, from time to time and from occasion to occasion. To speak a lie to protect the life of a good person is justice and in such occasion if speaking truth results in the killing of a good person, speaking truth is injustice and a sin.

Following justice (dharma) in earnings (artha) and in sex (kama) gives salvation (moksha) to any soul (apyarthakamou…dharmaayaiva). Your question is related to the justice in the sex. As already told, justice varies from time to time, place to place and situation to situation provided the change is within the marginal boundaries of the zone of justice. The change should not enter the zone of injustice. The bus can change its route within margins of a road depending on the direction of opposite vehicle, but, should not cross the margins and run into houses!

The Veda says that in doing sacrifice called Atiratra, the performer shall see the planet called Shodashi. The same Veda says in another statement that the performer need not see such planet (atiraatre shodashinam…, naatiraatre…). This means variation of the rule by moving to exact opposite side is prescribed by the same scripture. Justice (dharma) is activity (karma) and hence can vary. God (Bramha) is an entity and will never vary as said by scripture (kriyaayaam vikalpah natuvastuni). Here, variation to the extent of exact opposite side is allowed since seeing the planet is not very important since by it no injustice is done resulting in the pain and violence of a living being.
In the case of the function of marriage between a male and a female, justified points are to be observed:-
i) The couple is swearing in the name of God, that none shall deviate from the other in the sexual activity (Naaticharaami).
ii)  There shall be no mental agony for anyone of the couple due to such deviation because violence is the highest injustice.
iii) The main aim of the marriage is to extend humanity (prajaayai gruhamedhinaam, prajaatantum maa...).

iv) This shall not mean that re-marriage is allowed if no issues are born. It depends on the level of the mind of the couple. If the couple is totally devoted to God (nivrutti), it is never worried about the issues because the Veda clearly says that one cannot reach God by issues (na prajayaa). If the level of the mind of the couple is of the level of lower pravrutti only, re-marriage was allowed in the ancient time provided both come to understanding without any pain. In the present time, artificial insemination, incubation etc., are available in the place of re-marriage for the sake of issues. Based on some other circumstances also re-marriage was allowed provided both consult mutually without a trace of pain and there is total lack of cheating and violence.

v) This again does not mean that having sex with others (wife or husband) is justified provided the other partner is ignorant of this illegal activity because due to ignorance pain is always absent. This becomes a sin because the person has broken the swearing done in marriage before God and God is pained for breaking the promise done before Him as witness.

vi) Re-marriage in certain special situations is allowed provided the other partner has full consent without any force. In the present law also, re-marriage is allowed if the first wife gives in writing that she is constantly ill and somebody is needed for her service, mental illness of the life partner, change of religion etc. The scriptures say that one shall re-marry if the issues are not found for ten years (aprajaam dashame varshe). The scripture also says that the re-marriage for a lady is allowed in five situations (death, sainthood, neutrality of gender, missed and never found and becoming immoral – panchasvaapatsu…patiranyovidheeyate). Such a re-marriage for man or woman is allowed provided the mental state is in need of desire for sex or issues. Sex is a biological need like hunger, thirst, sleep etc. Instead of remaining unmarried for external hypocrisy, it is better to re-marry and keep limitation.
vii) Polygamy or a polyandry is justified based on the special factors involved in a specific situation. Consent of the other life partner without any pain is the most important point since such point alone gives the birth of a sin. However, illegal sex in secrecy is also a sin, since it gives pain to God, who happened to be the witness of the marriage. Hence, re-marriage in public (open atmosphere) without any secrecy is justified provided such re-marriage has the support of the first life partner and logically acceptable factors agreed by God. Such an open re-marriage without hurting the life partner supported by specific conditions of the situation is also agreeable to God and can’t be treated as a sin. Draupadi did not have illegal and secret sex with the other brothers after marrying Dharmaraja. Mohammed also married again openly and did not have illegal sex secretly with others. He must have definitely taken the consent of already married wives and other acceptable supporting factors. The author of the constitution of such a great religion can’t do injustice.

viii) The scripture allows re-marriages in the case of a king in view of the inter-continental peace through relationship that avoids wars between kingdoms (raajaanobahuvallabhaah). Non-violence of the entire society than an individual is the highest justice in this concept.

ix) Even illegal sex without marriage was allowed to be justified provided such activity is with the consent of all scholarly elders. Sage Vyasa had illegal sex with the widows called as Ambika and Ambalika to extend the race of the dynasty of king Kuru. The mother-in-law of the widows and the mother of sage Vyasa requested sage Vyasa for this on the advice of scholars of ethics. This is not the usual secret sex with widows.

x) Lord Krishna has secret sex with married Gopikas in the midnights in Brundavanam forest for two years. This cannot be justified on the single point that the husbands of Gopikas were ignorant of this due to deep sleep in midnights. This single point cannot make this secret affair justified because it is against the commandment of God, who is Krishna Himself! Krishna killed Shishupala and the last allegation against Shishupala was that Shishupala had illegal sex with the wife of king Babhru. After leaving Brundavanam in His 18th year (infact blooming youth starts from 18th year), He never had such illegal sex with any other girl or lady. As a king and based on special circumstances, He had sex with girls married by Him only throughout His life. Some devotees desired married life with God in the previous births and God fulfilled their desire by these marriages. If He had sex with Gopikas based on lust due to youth, He should have continued such activity in the later part of His life also (especially in the blooming youth after 18th year) and should not have killed Shishupala on such allegation. This total background is totally different from pravrutti. All these Gopikas were sages doing penance for God in their previous millions of births. Their attachment to God is judged by the detachment from worldly bonds appeared subsequently and spontaneously. The three strongest worldly bonds (eshanas) are money, issues and life partner. Donating butter allotted for their children to Krishna speaks about the detachment from money and issues. Attachment to God through dance neglecting their life partners speaks about the detachment of bond with life partners. Hence, this is only a test conducted by God before giving the certificate of degree, which is greater than even the highest degree in the spiritual path. The highest degree is becoming one with God (equality with God) by becoming Human Incarnation. But, Gopikas became the masters of God placed in Goloka above His abode or Brahmaloka. This has no influence of external physical factors because Gopikas were black and were also not beautiful. This shall be understood as pure nivrutti and there is no trace of pravrutti in this topic. Understanding the Bhagavatam in right sense is the test for spiritual scholars (vidyavataam bhaagavate parikshaa). Rama is the perfect example for pravrutti, who confined to Sita alone throughout His life. Sita is a similar character confining to Rama throughout her life. Krishna stands as the perfect example for Nivrutti also, Who is beyond justice and injustice (pravrutti) indicating the spiritual path of single and total attachment to God (sarvadharmaan… Gita). Leaving this one special situation of Gopikas, Krishna behaved exactly like Rama only in the rest of entire life. Hence, Krishna supported pravrutti like Rama as the general rule for any soul (voting for justice against injustice) after showing the most rarest example of nivrutti in the case of Gopikas (voting for God against even justice).

Essence of Worship of Lord Satya Narayana Swami

Kishore Ram asked: Please explain the inner essence of the worship of Lord Satya Narayana, which is frequently done by several people in this country.

Swami Replied: A few days back, one person came to My house requesting Me to act as a priest for this worship saying that on that day priests were not available. I agreed to be the priest. Then, he asked Me “How much is Your fees?”. I replied “the fees is according to your capacity (Yathaa Shakti) and according to your impression on Me (Yathaa Bhakti). Between these two, whichever is lower, that must be followed by you. I will explain this point. You may have high capacity (100 rupees) but if you have a low impression about Me (10 rupees), you must give as per the low impression (10 rupees). If you have low capacity (10 rupees) and have high impression about Me (100 rupees), you must give Me as per the lower capacity (10 rupees). If the capacity and the impression are equal, there is no problem and you can give Me as per that capacity equal to impression. If your capacity is zero, you give Me one salutation (Namaskara) and I will bless you. This is the code of conduct of a priest that was followed by sages in our ancient India”. The person became very happy and took Me to his house and I performed the worship. At the end of the worship, stories present in five chapters are to be informed by the priests to the gathering. The stories are in the following manner:

a) First and Second Stories: A priest was very poor and was suffering with a severe poverty. God appeared in the form of an old priest and asked him to do this worship. The priest performed the worship and became very rich. One seller of sticks suffering with severe poverty came to the priest and heard about the worship from him. He also performed the worship in his home and became very rich.

b) Third Story: A king called Ulkaamukha also performed this worship on the banks of the river called Bhadrasheela and got his desires fulfilled.

c) Fourth Story: A business man called as Sadhu approached the above king and learnt about this worship. He came to his home and declared that he will do this worship if he gets issues. He got a daughter and his wife reminded him about the worship. The merchant declared that he will do this worship if his daughter is married with a good groom. His daughter was married with a good person. Even then, he did not perform the worship. God became furious and when this merchant went to another city for business along with his son-in-law, both were arrested and imprisoned by the king without enquiry. Then, his wife and daughter also became poor and somehow got reminded of the worship, which was performed by both subsequently. God entered the dream of the king and ordered him to relieve the merchant and son-in-law. Both were relieved and were returning with their ship containing lot of wealth. A saint appeared before them and enquired about the material present in the ship. The merchant told that some leaves and branches exist in the ship. When the merchant went inside the ship, he found all the wealth turned into branches and leaves. The merchant came out and fell on the feet of saint. The saint reminded about the worship, which was immediately performed by the merchant along with the family. The merchant was totally reformed by God.

d) Fifth Story: A king called Tungadhwaja went to forest and found some cowherds doing the worship. They brought some offering to God for the sake of the king. The king, due to ego of caste and wealth rejected it and went away. The king was surrounded by many tragedies, who returned to the forest and took the offering to God with apology.

I explained the essence of these stories in the following way:
a) The first two stories reveal that a poor man worshipping God even before receiving the fruit of the worship. The poor man is justified to worship God after receiving the fruit (wealth) since he can’t afford to do the worship due to poverty. Inspite of this, the worship was performed even before receiving the fruit. Imagine that if such poor person is not blessed with the fruit after worship, the heavy expenses in the worship will turn him to become more poor. But the poor person has full faith on God that God will certainly grant him the fruit. The faith was not let down by God.

A higher stage than this poor man is that in which a poor man performs this worship without aspiration for any fruit from God. The reason of such performance of worship is real love and real attraction towards the personality of God. Such stage of devotion is climax and a story of this highest stage was not revealed here because it is very very rare in this world. The human being performs such sacrifice only to his personal family and God is never equal to the level of family-bond. The human being is speaking lies in the prayers by saying that God is above everybody and everything!

b) The third story related to a rich king performing worship for the fruit is explained next which is a lower level than the first two stories. The reason is that those two persons performed worship in spite of their severe poverty even before obtaining their fruit. One is not sure about the fruit after worship. Inspite of this lack of assurance and inspite of their severe poverty to do the worship, the worship was performed by them due to their love and faith towards God. This king also performed worship before getting the fruit and this shows his immense faith in God. But performance of worship does not affect the king in any way since he is very rich. Hence, the level in this case is next to the level of above mentioned two poor people.

c) The merchant is very greedy. He doubts about the fruit after the worship. If the worship is done before getting the fruit, the expenses may become waste if the fruit is not received after the worship. Even in a shop, you get the item first and then only pay its rate. The merchant believes the consumer. This merchant kept God in a lower position than a business-man selling items in the shop! God blessed the merchant with a daughter. The merchant again declared that when his daughter gets a good groom in the marriage, he will perform the worship. This is against the ethics of even basic business. You want to get two items for the payment of rate of one item! God gave him a good son-in-law. Even then, the merchant did not perform worship and this shows the atheistic tendency. Due to this, the merchant suffered a lot. Finally, the merchant insulted the saint (devotee of God). For that, he was severely punished. He realized his greediness blended with atheism, got rectified himself and finally was blessed by God.

Upto this, the stories revealed the effect of greediness in the spiritual effort.

d) The final story deals with the ego of the king due to his upper caste and high wealth. The Gita says that the caste is to be decided by qualities and deeds only. The ego of birth and wealth are very dangerous and lead to immediate fall. This story deals with the effect of ego in the spiritual effort.

In this worship Lord Satya Narayana is explained to have white colour (Shukla varnam…) whereas Narayana is in blue colour. Satya Narayana means true Narayana. Does this mean that Satya Narayana is true God and Narayana is false God? No. Satya Narayana is the first energetic incarnation into which the unimaginable God entered and merged with it. This first energetic incarnation is called as ‘Datta’ and it is attributed by the word truth. This means that this incarnation will never end. This Satya Narayana (Datta) entered into another energetic form called as Vishnu (Narayana) and this second energetic incarnation will dissolve in the first energetic form in the final dissolution of creation. The same Datta entering into one energetic form called as Brahma is known as Hiranyagarbha. The same Datta entering another energetic form called Shiva is known as Sadaashiva. Thus, this Datta or Satya Narayana is the original eternal energetic incarnation of God appearing as the three subsequent energetic forms called as Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Hence, you will find this form of Satya Narayana in a holy place called as Annavaram as these three in one unit (Hari Hara Hiranyagarbhaatmaka). Datta is not the name since it means that through this first energetic form the unimaginable God is given (Datta) to the creation with a proper address. This Datta also enters certain human forms (devotees) to become human incarnation. The white colour of this Datta indicates the white energy including all the colours.

When I explained this essence to the gathering in this way, all the devotees felt very much enlightened and encouraged in these spiritual path. Every priest shall enlighten the spiritual knowledge while performing any worship or ritual. The human beings progress towards God only through spiritual knowledge. Any human being, who does the propagation of the spiritual knowledge to lead people towards God, is called as a true priest or Brahmana (Brahma nayati iti). The priest must not have even a trace of his view on the earnings through the performance of ritual. If the priest performs this duty in true sense, God will bless him with immense wealth and also with protection here as well as there. God will inspire the people to reward the priest in excellent manner. The omnipotent God can give anything anywhere at any time. The priest shall never be worried about the livelihood and required wealth. He shall never ask the Guru Dakshina as fees! Today, the ritual is performed in a mechanical way without the preaching of the inner sense, which is the essence or spiritual knowledge. This is the most unfortunate aspect of the Hindu religion because neither the priest nor the gathering understands anything from the blind recitation of the scripture from the mouth of the alive priestly tape recorder!

Cow slaughter

Cow is an animal of soft nature, which does not harm you in anyway. But, there are other soft natured animals also like goat, deer etc. The basic law is that you can kill even a human being if that human being is attacking your life. The same applies to any living being. You can kill a tiger or a lion or a wolf, which will certainly attack you even if you do not harm it. Applying this basic law, it is not justified to kill any soft natured animal, which does not harm you. You may argue that you are killing it for the sake of your food. You may say that you have to save your life by the food only and hence it is inevitable. I agree if the situation is like that in which you are unable to get food by any alternative way and you have to save your life in draught by killing even a soft natured animal. This is justified as special justice in emergency (Dharmasukhma in Apatdharma). But this is not justified when God has given plenty of alternative food. You may argue that even cutting the paddy etc, is also slaughtering living beings because plant has life. Here, you must distinguish life from awareness. Life is only an inert mechanism of taking oxygen and leaving carbon dioxide. In view of this, plants are said to be living beings. But, there is no development of this life into advanced stage called as awareness, which exists as mind, intelligence etc. When the awareness exists, the living being killed experiences the same pain, which you get when you are killed. There is homogeneity between yourself and zoological kingdom of life containing insects, birds, animals etc. All the plants come under a different subject called Botany in which the life is limited to simple mechanism of inert respiration only. If you have studied Botany and Zoology as different subjects, this question will not attack your mind. You may further argue that the flesh or vegetable contains the same chemical components like Carbohydrates, Proteins, Vitamins etc., and hence eating flesh and vegetable food are one and the same. I fully agree with your point and say that there is no sin in eating flesh because of the presence of same ingredients of plants. If you go to the cause of acquiring the flesh and vegetable food, an animal with awareness is killed for flesh and a plant without awareness is cut for grains. In the stage of cause, there is lot of difference because awareness exists in zoological items and the same does not exists in botanical items. You may argue that you are not directly cutting the animal for the flesh. You might have not done the sin directly, but since you are consuming the flesh, the butcher is cutting the animal. Hence, as a consumer, you are indirectly an equal participant of the sin. I do not want to enter much into ethics or scriptures in this subject. I stand simply on one point, which is that just you think that you are in the place of that animal being cut and then imagine the pain. This one point is sufficient in this subject.

Therefore, killing any soft natured animal or any soft natured human being is a sin provided it does not attack your life. Except this one point, you should not kill any human being or any soft natured zoological living being. All other reasons can be enquired by law and corresponding justified punishments other than death sentence should be given. Hence, cow slaughter is only a part of the total concept and this part should not be emphasized as the total concept. You try to extend this partial concept to the other similar items also and arrive at the general total concept. Taking the advantage of the slaughter of other soft animals, you should not kill the cow.

The fundamental cellular fluid in Botany is cytoplasm whereas the fundamental cellular fluid in Zoology is protoplasm. The neuro spot giving awareness exists even in unicellular organisms (Amoeba) of Zoology. If you justify killing of animals for the sake of food, you have to simultaneously justify the killing of human beings for food by demon or present carnivorous human beings present in the forest. Kaapaalikas eating the dead bodies of human beings are justified. Proteins primarily synthesized in plants are good for health whereas proteins re-synthesized in flesh are not good for health. Bhagavan Shri Satya Sai Baba even as a boy used to become curious if a bull of cart was beaten. The highest justice is non-violence (Ahimsa paramo dharmah…). If you say that you will kill the animal by giving anesthesia, it is also not justified because you have no right to take away the God given life from its enjoyment. Will you justify your killing also by the demon if anesthesia is given to you? In such case, even an atheist will argue such human killing is unjust!

Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was found killing blood (bed) bugs in His cot. The blood (bed) bug or a mosquito can be killed harming you seriously. But, non-harming ant or butterfly etc., should not be killed. Bhagavan Shri Shirdi Saibaba showed the wound on His body when a devotee beat a buffalo. By this, He is preaching that human being doing violence should keep in the place of victim and imagine the suffering of the violence. Can He be a non-vegetarian as some people criticize? Buddha left this family life on seeing when a swan was shot. In the Valmiki Ramayanam, an inserted incident was told that Rama killed a deer in Panchavati forest. He killed certainly the golden deer since He knows it as a demon in disguise. Rama was never a non-vegetarian as spoken in the Valmiki Ramayana itself (Na maamsam Raghavo Bhunkte…). Even Jesus, the embodiment of love, was not a non-vegetarian and reports otherwise are false, which were created by the non-vegetarian followers only. Mahavir preached extreme non-violence by restricting the justified non-violence also so that people will not do atleast the justified non-violence. Here, (n+1) rule applies, which is to preach the highest goal so that atleast high and higher goals are achieved by the followers.

Non-violence is the fundamental justice and no divine scripture in the world can preach atleast the justified non-violence. Scriptures are polluted by the insertions done by the followers and hence, logical analysis is the ultimate filter to reject such insertions. Sometimes the human incarnation may not oppose such fundamental non-violence also since it is strongly established. The human incarnation may neglect even such fundamental issue in view of concentration on other issues so that when other issues are rectified, this fundamental issue can be taken by next human incarnation in course of time. Such fundamental strong issue is dealt by partial controls step by step. The scripture says that fish should not be captured on holy days in holy places. This is a partial control in the initial stage. Finally, the scripture preaches the step called as ‘Mahavratam’, which is not to catch the fish in any place on any day. Full and permanent reformation on any issue can come only through the divine scriptural knowledge. Enforcement through rules can bring only partial and temporary control.

Birth of Pig for Corrupt People

[December 28, 2015] Shri Ajay asked: Today the corruption for money exists in every walk of life as seen in politicians, officials, business men, doctors, teachers and even judges! What will be the fate of such souls?
Shri Swami replied: The money of the public is the wealth of the public, which should be spent for public only giving priority to the poor people. This public money is very sacred and should not be enjoyed personally by any well-to-do person, unless he/she is extremely poor dying for food. One has to save the life even by doing the sin. In such a case, the sin is not a sin at all. Apart from this extreme condition, any attempt to steal the public money for the enjoyment of self and own family is the greatest sin. If one has livelihood already blessed by God, he/she should see the public money as the excretory matter. Nobody likes even to look at the excretory matter and in such case, there is no chance of any one to eat the excretory matter and to live always in the excretory matter itself! Therefore, everybody having the minimum needs satisfied should see the public money like excretion. Nobody should even look at the public money and not to speak of the thought to enjoy it. Anybody, who does the corruption of public money, will born as pig eating the excretion. More serious corruption of public money gives the birth of worms living in the excretion itself. You may argue that such enjoyment of excretion by pigs and worms need not be taken as the punishment because the pigs and worms enjoy the excretion like a human being enjoying a good feast. The ignorance of the previous birth of the soul as human being should make the soul to enjoy the excretion like a human being enjoying delicious food. The excretion for the pig should be like the delicious meal for an ordinary hungry person, if the ignorance of the previous birth masks the soul. This is correct if the pig is unaware of its previous birth. But, the actual fact is totally different since the pig or the worm eating the excretion is given the memory of the previous birth always by the will of God. Now, the soul realizes the difference between delicious food and wretched excretion and is pained deeply with full repentance being forced by the power of God to eat the excretion continuously along with the constant memory of the previous birth. Such a mental torture brings some realization in the soul at least after some births. This will bring a powerful change and thus the punishment is only to bring a significant change in the soul and not to revenge against the soul for its sin. The punishment involves lot of internally hidden technique so that the punishment is only for the transformation of the soul and not for the revenge. This horrible punishment is considered to be the climax of the list of punishments. The soul subjected to such terrible punishment is almost sure not to return to the human birth again.

The question asked by you was exactly expressed by Me to Lord Dattatreya about ten years back. The Lord gave the above reply, which is presented here word by word. The Lord also showed Me the vision of such births, which showed the corrupt people on the left side and their souls becoming pigs and worms eating and dwelling in the excretion on the right side. I was so much irritated by that ghastly vision and suffered with illness for a long time, which was based on allergy. The illness was so serious increasing day by day and I thought that My death was very near. That wretched vision came to My brain again and again. Then, I prayed the Lord for protection through several prayers. The Lord appeared and touched Me with both hands from top to bottom smiling and saying that the answer is so as the question is. The Lord said that His knowledge is always characterized by the foremost quality called as truth as said in the Veda (Satyam, Jnanam...). Truth cannot be altered since it is harsh. I did not reveal this topic till now thinking that I should not harm the health of anybody. But, the Lord is forcing Me from inside to reveal the truth as revealed by Him to Me in the past. Since I cannot resist the force of the Lord, I am revealing. The Lord also says the reason for His force. The Lord says that the reason is that today the corruption for money spread even an atomic area of the creation. You also asked Me this question by His will only. We both are like the two sides of the drum alternatively beaten by the two hands of the Lord. Today, you made Me to expose the highest secret so far hidden by Me. The Lord also asks Me that this message should be translated into every language of the world and a print of this message should be kept on the notice board of the office of every public servant from top to bottom level. If anybody is affected by the allergy, I advise him to use the anti-allergic medicines immediately. I am extremely sorry for revealing this truth and I ask for the apology from everybody.

Shri Ajay asked: What about the rectification of this sin already committed? Will repentance and avoiding repetition cancel this sin totally as per the divine offer?

Shri Swami Replied: Repentance followed by non-repetition of the sin certainly cancels the sin as per the divine offer given by God in this Kaliyuga. Remember that this offer did not exist in the previous 3 Yugas. But, there is an extra step involved in the sin of corruption for money. The sins are of two types: 1) the sin that can be cancelled by repentance and subsequent non-repetition. This type of sin has no possibility of rectification of the past sin already done. Ex: Ravana killed the bird Jataayu. He cannot give life to this bird after repentance. This sin is non-rectifiable. In this sin, repentance and non-repetition of the sin can cancel the past sin and here the total reformation is completed by these two steps only. 2) This type of sin is rectifiable with respect to the past sin. Therefore, repentance followed by rectification of the past sin and subsequently non-repetition of the similar sin can alone cancel the past sin. This type of sin involves three steps to burn the sin. Ex: Ravana stole Sita. This type of sin can be cancelled only by three steps. First is repentance of the sin done. Second is returning Sita to Rama. The third is not to repeat such a sin in the future.

The corruption for money belongs to this second type of sin. You must return the money already earned by you through corruption to the same person from whom you collected it. The Gita says the same (Tairdattanapradaayaibhyo...Gita). The Veda says that while returning the money, you must analyse and you should not be blind in simply returning back the money (Samvidaadeyam). If the person from whom you collected the money is rich and bad, you need not return the money to him blindly to maintain the general norms of accounting. You should spend such money for the sake of good and poor people. A bad poor person can be helped in terms of material like food, clothes, medicines and shelter but not in terms of cash, which will be misused by him. Another situation of analysis is that, suppose you are not taking the money from a bad rich fellow by corruption, some other officer may take the same amount and use it personally. In such case, it is better that you should take the money through corruption and spend it in the above said right way. All this can be known only by the special knowledge called 'Samvit'. Don't donate the sinful money to the persons, who are already corrupt. You should donate this sinful money to good people only, who can spend that money in the proper way. Otherwise, if the returned money is misused by the undeserving persons, the sin will not leave you. You must take the responsibility in returning the sinful money for good cause and cannot leave the responsibility to others, who may misuse. You have to take all the pains in relinquishing your responsibility in proper way since the sin is done personally by you only.

The first hymn of the first EeshavaasyaUpanishat of the first Rugveda says that you should not steal other's money, which speaks about the corruption only. By this, you can understand the importance given by the Veda to this most serious sin. It also says that you should enjoy the money associated with sacrifice to deserving receivers (Tenatyaktena...). The Veda also says that sacrifice of money alone is the practical philosophy that leads you to God (DhanenaTyagena). In the Gita, the Lord says everywhere that you should sacrifice the fruit of your work to Him. The essence of all these statement of scriptures is that i) you should avoid the corruption of money everywhere and prevent yourself in doing the sin. ii) If you have already committed the sin, rectification of the sin by returning it as said above should be done. iii) You should return the money to angels given by them to you (the Gita). This means that the angels are none but good people in this world. It means that you should never steal the money of a good person especially if he is poor. iv) When you donate to God, it should be the fruit of your hard work, which is the most pious money to be given to the most pious God. At least, it can be the money given by your parents (MadhyamamPituraarjitam). v) Donating money to the angels means donating the money to the devotees doing divine work of propagating the right spiritual knowledge so that the entire society gets rectified. This can be the already earned sinful money also since it is going to be spent for the rectification of the society only and the sinful money was collected from the society only.

All these points constitute the steps of sharp analysis, which are necessary before you decide your action as said in the Gita (Jnaatvaakurvita). Rectification of the past sin is very complicated and sharp analysis is a must before taking decisions resulting in actions. Errors in such rectification will lead you to further sin. The basic concept in the donation of your hard earned money or paternal money or earned sinful money is that the donation should be done to the deserving receiver only and not to undeserving receiver. Not donating to deserving receivers and donating to undeserving receivers – both are serious sins as said in the Mahabharata. Your analysis should be based on this fundamental point. Shriyantra means correct plan of the sacrifice of money, which alone leads you to heaven in Pravrutti or to God in Nivrutti. This is the real interpretation of the worship of Shriyantra. Ignorant people worship Shriyantra to earn more money even through unlawful ways!
Real Side of Secularism
Shri Ajay asked: What is the reason for such rapid expansion of corruption and what is the fundamental treatment for this?

Shri Swami Replied: In Kaliyuga, especially in the modern times, the corruption is spread everywhere and even the controlling agencies like Police, courts, etc., are also becoming corrupt. The basic reason for this chaos is that there is no inbuilt resistance to the sin in every citizen to be founded from the childhood through the education system. In the ancient days of Kaliyuga itself, the education system introduced by the Government (king or monarchy) contained lot of spiritual knowledge based on the concept of God, Heaven, hell, etc. Due to this inbuilt resistance, every citizen feared for God and hell to do the sin since the punishment from God can never be escaped. The present democratic government, especially in India, is spoiled due to the concept of secularism. The secularism is misunderstood as atheism so that no religion is favoured. It is actually strong theism favouring all the religions. Secularism means the universal spiritual knowledge present in all the religions. Secularism means taking the same medicine existing in different coloured bottles in small quantities from each bottle. But, today, the misunderstood secularism is not to take the medicine from any bottle! The government following a specific religion as conservative is far better than such misunderstood secularism. Such conservative government maintains a single coloured bottle only containing the medicine. At least, it takes the medicine from that single bottle. Corruption in such countries having conservative governments is found at very minimum level.

Today, moral classes are introduced in the education system to very little extent. Morals are taught without the basic concept of God, Heaven and hell. Nobody likes to follow the morals if there is a chance to fool the courts. Morals are followed only for the fear of court punishments. If such punishments can be escaped by over intelligence, there is no loss at all in doing the sin and in such case also if the sin is not done it is mere foolishness! Instead, the concept of God as omniscient and the inevitable hell will control anybody to do the sin because over intelligence fails in the case of God. The ancient kings were very clever in developing the spiritual knowledge to large extent in the education system for creating the inbuilt resistance to the sin in every citizen from the childhood. Due to this, the sin became very rare and the controlling agencies were very few resulting in very smooth administration. In a large kingdom, there used to be a single court (Dharmasanam) in presence of the king since only very few cases of sin used to come from the entire kingdom. The police departments were almost non-existent. The reason was everybody feared to do the sin fearing for the omniscient and omnipotent God because even if you escape the court, you can never escape God. Therefore, the lack of place for spiritual knowledge in the education system is the main reason for such expansion of corruption. A specific course called philosophy exists, which can be taken by anybody if interested and we find very very few students only in such course! This is not correct. The philosophy or spiritual knowledge should be common to every student from L.K.G. to P.G. level since every citizen needs the inbuilt resistance to the sin. Introduction of the spiritual knowledge in the education system alone can bring a permanent solution, which is the fundamental rectification.People misunderstand that spiritual knowledge is limited to nivrutti (God & devotion etc.), which is the second part only. The first part of the spiritual knowledge is actually the pravrutti (social justice). You must remember that the Lord said in the Gita that He comes down to earth to establish pravrutti only (dharmasamsthaapanaarthaaya …).

Why Lord Rama did not respond to the severe suffering of the greatest devotee, Ramadas?

[September 27, 2016] Dr Annapurna, Professor, asked: “Lord Rama did not respond to the severe suffering of the greatest devotee, Ramadas, given to him by the king Taanishaa through punishment for constructing the temple of Rama. How to accept the kindness and justice of Rama?”

Swami replied:  You have used two words: kindness and justice, which can’t go together like water and fire. The human incarnation of Rama was purely for Pravrutti of the humanity. He left even His dearest wife, Sita for the sake of justice in the administration of a ruler. A ruler should take care of the comments of every citizen in his kingdom. Even though the comments were passed on Sita by a washer man in the state of over drink of wine, Rama cared for it because the truth hidden in the sub-conscious state comes out after drinking wine! This means that Rama cared even the sub-conscious state of public in His rule! Rama can never do injustice since Rama is praised as the materialised form of justice (Ramo vigrahavaan dharmah). We get doubts by misunderstanding the truth. If you know the truth of the action of Ramadas and Rama, such remarks will not come out. Let us examine the facts in reality, not basing on the distorted facts of the cinema on Ramadas, which is seen by all leading to such misunderstandings.

Ramadas was appointed as Tahasildar of Golkonda District by the Muslim ruler called as Taanisha ruling the kingdom of Hyderabad. Akkanna and Maadanna were the two ministers of Taanisha. Both these ministers are Hindus and Taanisha was a Muslim. At the outset, you must appreciate Taanisha for his broad mind beyond the conservative path of religion. Both these ministers were uncles of Ramadas. Due to the recommendation of both these ministers, Ramadas got the appointment. Ramadas was the greatest devotee of Lord Rama and there is no doubt in this. Ramadas built a temple for Lord Rama in Bhadrachalam using the public tax, which has to be transferred to king Taanisha as per the basic fundamental duty of any Government employee. This is the basic justice. You should not support Ramadas as far as the failure of his basic duties are concerned. You should not bring the issue of religion in this case saying that Taanisha is a Muslim and Ramadas is a Hindu devotee constructing Hindu temple. Even if Ramadas built a Mosque instead of Temple, Taanisha should have punished him because the case is not regarding religion and devotion to God, but, it is regarding the failure of fundamental duty of an employee in the Government. Devotion shall never contradict justice in Pravrutti. You may bring the concept that in the climax of devotion or Nivrutti, even justice should be sacrificed as told in the Gita (Sarvadharmaan...). I can accept this point if the devotion is fair. In the case of Ramadas, his devotion is totally false due to his ignorance in the analysis. Had Ramadas built the temple spending savings of his personal salary or at least spending his ancestral property, the devotion could have been fair. The devotion is false because the sacrifice of fruit of work (karmaphalatyaga) of Ramadas was not correct since the temple was neither built by his personal salary nor built by spending his ancestral property. Devotion means sacrifice of the fruit of one’s own hard work and not sacrificing the money of Government secretly for the sake of God! God will never relish such false money, which is totally and fundamentally sinful. This can be realised if you analyze the real devotion, which is the basis of real sacrifice of fruit of work. Ramadas never did any true sacrifice to Lord Rama and his devotion is false because not a single rupee spent for temple belongs to the savings of salary or to his ancestral property. He felt that the sacrificed money for temple is his money and posed as if he is the real devotee of Rama spending his own money for the temple!
Money of King Not Be Spent for Any Purpose Including Divine Service Without Permission
Three sins were committed by Ramadas due to ignorance: 1) His theoretical devotion is greatest and at the same time totally false since the money sacrificed to God is not his earned property or ancestral property. Even if the money sacrificed to God is unlawful earning like earning through corruption, it can be justified to a small extent by saying that it is his earned property. The earned property might be sinful due to ignorance, but, on realisation sin was recognized and hence sacrifice of sinful money was done to God, who alone can digest it! There is a way to support the sinner in this possibility. 2) Ramadas diverted the tax to be passed on to the Government for the construction of the temple, which cannot be supported in any way. He should have at least taken the prior permission from the king to spend for such purpose. Without taking the permission and without the knowledge of the king, the money of king should not be spent for any purpose including divine service. He should have spent his own earned savings for the divine work and even a small room with just four stones is sufficient to become a temple. Rama never asked Ramadas to build a temple by spending the collected public tax. Rama was the greatest ruler and His strict administration brought Him the eternal name as ‘kingdom of Rama’ (Rama raajyam). 3) When he was severely punished for his failure of fundamental duty, he sang several beautiful songs on Lord Rama scolding Him for the delay in protecting him! These songs give picture as if he has sacrificed his own money (earning or ancestral property) to the temple of Rama and as if Rama was very cruel delaying his justified protection. He sings in one song “I presented golden jewels to You, Lakshmana and Sita by spending so much amount. You are enjoying the decoration by these jewels thinking as if it is the property of your father!” On one side sin was done and the same sin was projected as if it is his good sacrifice and on the other side he is scolding Rama as if Rama asked him for those jewels! Are these jewels the property of Ramadas or the property of his father? I am putting these questions to him as representative of Rama.

In cinema on Ramadas, facts were distorted to save the personality of Ramadas. It is presented as if he collected the public donations for the temple. The fact is that he diverted the tax to the temple and this is clearly proved since Rama returned that money to Taanisha but not to public. Rama kept silent on the punishments since his sin was multi-faced. Ramadas asks Rama in one song “O Sitaa Raamaswami! What are the mistakes done by me?” This means that he has not realised his fundamental mistake and this is the reason for the silence of Rama. Punishment is given by God Rama and Taanisha was only a doll medium. Punishment is for reformation of the soul and not for vengeance. Rama is actually kind in continuing the punishment till the reformation of the soul is reached and this is not the cruel attitude of Rama. The creation of hell to punish the sinners severely shows only the kindness of God to at least reform the souls temporarily so that less number of sins are only done by them. Without realising this inner love of God, Ramadas approached Sita to influence Rama for his protection as clear from his song. Sita represents the creation or a devoted soul and easily melts like mother without understanding the ultimate goal of the father in reforming the issue. Then, Rama has to act due to this back door approach influencing the home department! Rama appeared before Taanisha paying all the tax diverted by Ramadas. You must appreciate the administration of Rama: 1) He gave His personal vision to Taanisha and not to Ramadas because the money spent for Him belongs to Taanisha and not to Ramadas. 2) He rectified the fundamental mistake of Ramadas for diverting the public tax to His temple by paying the total amount along with interest (since the gold coin in the kingdom of Rama is several times higher than the coin of Taanisha). By this, Rama clearly proved that the money belongs to Taanisha only and not to Ramadas in anyway. The fruit of the sacrifice of fruit (money) was given by God to Taanisha only by appearing before him.
Response of Rama Through His Practical Actions
Rama clearly answered all the questions of Ramadas put in his songs through His practical action. Ramadas is in the line of ‘Vaishaya bhakti’, which means practical fruit from God for practical sacrifice of devotee. This line is certainly better than ‘Veshyaa bhakti’, which is aspiring practical fruit from God for theoretical devotion of devotee. No doubt, Ramadas spent money for God. But, this first line of devotion is cracked in the foundation itself since it is the money of the king and not his money, which is the first crime. The second crime is posing himself as a devotee of the first line as if he has spent his own money. The third crime is to scold the Lord for not maintaining the fundamental justice of first line. The actual highest concept is to donate your own hard earned money to God or at least money from your ancestral property or at the worst money earned by you through sinful ways like corruption. None of these three ways can apply to the case of Ramadas, who donated others’ money to God without getting their prior permission! In this highest concept, you should not aspire any fruit from God in return for your practical sacrifice, which is the real proof of your real love to God (Nivrutti). Ramadas does not touch this Nivrutti-line at any point. In the Pravrutti-line, one can aspire fruit from God in return following God’s policy, which is theoretical fruit for theoretical devotion and practical fruit for practical devotion (ye yathaa maam... Gita). He aspired practical fruit from God, which is His protection for His theoretical devotion by singing songs! Such protection is also from the punishment of a fundamental sin done to divert the tax for his own desire without taking permission from the owner of the tax. Therefore, you can’t justify Ramadas in anyway, who is questioning Rama that He appeared before a Muslim but not a strong Hindu like him. God is above any religion and Taanisha and his succeeding dynasty worshipped Rama by sending pearls to the function of marriage of Rama on every Shri Rama Navami day conducted in the temple. In fact, Rama went out of the way and gave practical protection for his theoretical devotion due to recommendation from Sita (Shakti). This clearly proves that God Rama is always kind hearted and the protector of justice in the entire world irrespective of caste, creed and religion.

Hence, the case of Ramadas is disposed with no costs.

Shankara Correlated All Sub-Religions Of Hinduism

O Learned and Devoted Servants of God,
[August 24, 2016] (Recently some ardent devotees of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba approached Swami expressing their pain about the criticism of Baba from Shri Swamiji, the head of Dvaarakaapiith. Swami gave the following message to them).

Swami replied: I shall answer all the criticism of Shri Sai Baba that came from Shri Swamiji, the head of Shankara Peetha of Dvaaraka. I can’t tolerate this attack and this is the issue of prestige of My ancestral dynasty, the precious chain starting from Lord Dattatreya, whose human incarnations like Shri Padavallabha, Shri Narasimha Saraswati, Shri Maanikya Prabhu, Shri Akkalkot Maharaj, Shri Shirdi Sai Baba, Shri Satya Sai Baba etc., who are the diamonds.

1. Union of Religions:

Shri Swamiji differentiates Hinduism and Islam opposing the trials of Shri Sai Baba for the correlation of the two religions, which is totally unfair. Religion means the path of efforts to please the God having a specific name and form particularly concerned to a specific religion. The philosophy of any religion is the analysis of the details of its specific path and details of its specific form of God. There are several religions like Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism etc. If you take Islam religion, the specific representation of God is Allah and its philosophy is about the formless aspect of God, opposes the concept of human incarnation etc. Its language is called Urdu and Muslim habits about dress, food etc., are called as Islam culture. Religion is concerned to the spiritual aspect whereas culture is concerned about external aspect. The cultures can’t be one, but the religions are always one because God in all the forms is one only and the essence of the paths of the religions is only the effort to please God. We mistake culture for religion and get divided within us.

Just like you have different religions in this world, you had different sub-religions (Shaivism, Vaishnavism, Shakteyism etc.,) in the religion called as Hinduism. Thus, Hinduism is a micro world or a reflection of the macro world (Universe) in small scale. Adi Shankara proved that all the sub-religions in Hinduism are one and the same. He broke the walls between the rooms (sub-religions) and made the house (Hinduism) as one hall. The same work was done by Prophet Mohammad in Islam by uniting hundreds of sub-religions existing before Islam and made Islam as one single hall. Shri Sai Baba broke the wall between these two halls and made a big hall. What is the difference between Shri Shankara, Prophet Mohammad and Shri Sai Baba? Shri Swamiji is a follower of Adi Shankara! This is the greatest tragedy!!
Shri Satya Sai Baba united Hinduism and Christianity in similar way. The dress of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba is Islamic whereas the dress of Shri Satya Sai Baba (long gown) is of Christianity. Shri Swami Vivekananda united all world religions as one biggest hall. His preacher, Shri Ramakrishna Parama Hamsa became the follower of each religion for some time and finally declared that He experienced oneness in all the religions. If Shri Swamiji criticized Shri Shirdi Sai Baba, he simultaneously criticized Adi Shankara, his founder preacher also. Shri Shankara brought union between Shaivism (having horizontal marks on forehead using Rudraaksha garlands) and Vaishnavism (having vertical marks on forehead using Tulasi garlands) with different cultures. Here the difference in the external cultures couldn’t stop the union of the two sub-religions. Applying the same, how the difference in the external cultures of Hinduism and Islam can stop the union of Hinduism and Islam religions? The union of Shaivism with Vaishnavism is called as Smaarta-sub-religion, the founder of which is Shankara and Shri Swamiji naturally belongs to this unified religious path (Smaarta)! The follower of Smaarta worships all festivals of Shiva and Vishnu, worshipping both Shiva and Vishnu as one God. Following the same logic followed by Shankara in uniting all sub-religions in Hinduism, we can extend it to all religions of the world and unite Jehovah of Christianity and Allah of Islam to the united single God of Shiva and Vishnu. If you oppose one type of logic in one place, you must not support that same logic in another place. If you do so, it is your self-contradiction.

Shri Swamiji criticizes Shri Shirdi Sai Baba as a Muslim. He was in the dress of Muslim and stayed in old masjid (since He was not allowed into temple), but, proved Himself as the greatest Hindu. He was prepared to sit on the lower step in rain refusing to move to the upper step on which the statue of God Hanuman existed! In such situation, any one of our Hindus will certainly jump to the higher step to sit along with the statue!! Once, a Muslim blessed by Baba with child came to Baba with sweets. Baba told him to go to the temple of Hanuman and distribute sweets there saying “once Hanuman and Allah were boxing with each other and Allah was defeated”. He was constantly chanting that Allah is the master (Allah Malik) and such saying is only to remove ignorant-conservative view of one’s own religion!
All religions appear to be different due to their externally observed cultures. But, God and path to please God (both these together are called as religion) are one and the same in all religions. The different paths ending in the same centre are taken as the simile for different religions. Here, this simile is applied since religion is mistaken as external culture. If the religion is taken as the path and goal together, there can’t be any difference between religions since goals or paths of all religions are one and the same. God Shiva is said to be the deity of knowledge (Jnaanam Maheshwaraat...), and both Shankara and Shri Sai Baba are the two incarnations of Lord Shiva came for scholars (as Shankara) and for common people (as Shri Sai Baba).

Actually, the original God is unimaginable, but, the three divine preachers took God as awareness. Actually, God is said to be unimaginable mediated in awareness. Whether God is unimaginable or the awareness, the factors of external culture like name, form, language of scripture, external living habits etc., can’t touch the actual unimaginable God even as per the philosophy of Shankara (name and form are myth— Shankara).

2. Union of Religions through sharp analysis:

Shri Swami Vivekananda tried His level best to unite all regions of world. This Swami (Shri Datta Swami) feels that such union can be brought only by deep analysis coming from the faculty of intelligence in brain and not by emotion of mind coming from heart. Now, only brains exist and hearts have disappeared long back! If the logic of intelligence, the highest faculty in human body, gets convinced, no need to convince anyone more in this world! Union of all religions (Sarvamata Samanvaya) is achieved by the following logical argument projected by Shri Datta Swami:
India, the place of Hindu religion, was invented in 1700 AD and till then there was no connection between India and other countries. Till then, neither preaching of Krishna went out nor preaching of Jesus entered in. Each religion says that the disbeliever of their specific God (Krishna or Jesus) will go to hell! Our ancestors before 1700 AD went to hell as per Christianity and ancestors of outer countries before 1700 AD went to hell as per Hinduism! Each religion says that their God is the creator of this one earth and this one entire humanity. This becomes impossible if Gods and religions are different. Essentially one God or essentially one religion exists. That one God alone created this one earth and this one humanity. If one specific God of one specific religion alone exists, such God gave gospel in a specific region without spreading it immediately all over the world, some generations of outer country missed the opportunity of gospel and went to hell for their no fault! This is extreme partiality of God! This blame will not appear in our concept of oneness of all religions.

Our concept is: From the beginning of this creation, the one God, who created this one earth and this one humanity on this one earth, came in different forms with different names till now and gave the same subject of one gospel in different languages. Since subject of all gospels is one and the same, there is no danger of any generation of any region missing this gospel of other region on this earth. One, who follows the subject of gospel of his religion in his region, he/she followed all gospels of all religions in all regions. The follower, anywhere, at any time, goes to God and the disbeliever goes to hell. There is no possibility of partiality of God to any religion of any region.

3. Non-vegetarian food:

Shri Swamiji says that Sai Baba is not God since He was a non-vegetarian. If so Shri Rama was also non-vegetarian as per the proof from Valmiki Ramayanam. It is 8th wonder of the world that Shri Swamiji says Shri Rama as God and simultaneously denies Shri Sai Baba as God! I agree that non-vegetarian food is a sin since it provokes killing of innocent living beings. Actually, Shri Sai Baba only distributed non-vegetarian food to non-vegetarians and never ate the non-vegetarian food. He was always claiming as Hindu Brahmin showing ears with holes as proof for the thread marriage happened. Shri Satya Sai Baba also told in message of one Guru Purnima that Shri Shirdi Sai Baba was born in Brahmin family-Bharadwaja Gotram. He told that Lord Shiva and Shakti gave boon to sage Bharadwaja that both of them will be born in His Gotram for three times. Lord Shiva was born as Shri Shirdi Sai Baba. Shiva and Shakti were born as Shri Satya Sai Baba. Shakti will be born as Prema Sai Baba in Karnataka in future. Both these points mutually support with each other.

God comes as human incarnation to rectify all points of humanity. In one coming, He neglects some points stressing on other points. In the subsequent visit, the neglected points are stressed again. All points should not be stressed each time by which human psychology refuses rectification of any point! The human incarnation also follows the neglected points to become friendly with human beings. A person has to jump into mud pond to lift the fallen and the person is also painted by mud. When a person wishes to stop the running strong bull, he catches its neck-rope first, runs along with it for some distance and then only stops it. Similarly, God in human form follows the culture for some time along with the human beings and then only analyses the background to expose the truth. Do you think that Shri Rama, who wept seeing the wounded bird (Jataayu) and Jesus, who pressed the lamb on His heart, are fond of killing living beings for food?

Shri Swamiji says that Baba killed a goat! Nowhere in His life history, such incident was reported. Of course, I don’t know whether Shri Swamiji has taken series of CDs of the entire life of Sai Baba, in which, what he reported might have existed!! The actual incident happened is that Baba asked a devotee, who was a traditional Hindu Brahman, to kill a goat on the day of pious Ekaadashi. The devotee became ready! Baba stopped him and told that He will kill the goat (perhaps Shri Swamiji misunderstood this sentence). The goat, immediately fell down by itself (for God’s sake don’t misinterpret this that Baba killed it and hence it fell down!) and died. This shows the omniscience of Baba. Actually, Baba tested the devotee about his total surrender to Him, in which, devotee votes for God against even justice (sarvadharmaan... Gita).

4. Traditional chain of preachers (Guruparamparaa):

Shri Swamiji criticizes that Baba has no Guruparamparaa like that of Shankara as Narayana-Shankaraachaarya-Chandrasekhara Saraswati. Similarly, Baba has Guruparamparaa: Lord Venkateshwara-Venkusaa Avadhuta-Baba. Baba was keeping very carefully the brick given by His Guru-Venkusaa throughout His life.

5. Bath in Ganga river:

Shri Swamiji says that the devotees of Baba should not take bath in pious Ganga river. I feel that he is correct in this point at least. His reason must have been: since the devotees of Baba are very pure and since the water of Ganga is very impure (highest pollution reported), a pure item should not be dipped in impure water!

6. Authority of the Vedas:

Shri Swamiji says that Baba’s preaching has no mention of the Vedic authority. Fantastic! Even Shri Krishna didn’t quote the Vedic authority anywhere in the Gita to prove that what He said has sanction from the Veda. Does this mean that Shri Swamiji is saying that the Gita is also not valid! Even Shankara wrote certain poems in which the Vedic authority was not given while introducing concepts. All those verses of Shankara are invalid! Shankara quoted the Veda in commentaries since scholars have the nature of getting convinced on seeing the authority from the Veda only. Shankara fulfilled this inevitable requirement. When God says something, it is as good as the Veda since the Veda was composed by Him only. His statement (Veda) can’t be authority for His own statement given elsewhere (as preaching). The Veda means knowledge and not merely a specific statement. If the same concept is in the Veda, the Veda is quoted, even though that specific the Vedic statement is not quoted. A scholar quotes the Veda and gives its misinterpretation. Do you accept that misinterpretation since the Vedic statement is quoted as it is? The preaching of any human incarnation can be found in the Veda or in any scripture of other religion also since every human incarnation is God, who is the author of the scriptures of all religions. Scholars being human beings, being other than God, have to quote the Veda to support their concept since authority is always from outside and never from one’s own self.

Incarnations of God Are Infinite in Number

7. Number of incarnations:

Shri Swamiji says that the Bhagavatam mentions only 22 incarnations and Baba is not in the list. O God! What is the time of composition of the Bhagavatam and what is the time of life of Baba! How the name of Baba can come in the Bhagavatam, which was written long ago? Is there the name of Shankara in that list, whom you worship as incarnation of God Shiva! Shankara was also born later than the Bhagavatam like Baba. I fear, you may even say that Shankara is not incarnation!! Shankara is incarnation from the authority of the Veda, about which only, you are shouting all this time! The Veda says that Lord Shiva is in the form of shaved headed (vyuptakeshaaya...), which means that Shiva was saint Shankara (saint shaves head). The Veda is more authoritative than the Bhagavatam (Shrutireva gariiyasii).

My dear innocent Swamiji! you quote Bhagavatam for the number of incarnations of God. Did you not see the next verse in the same Bhagavatam that incarnations of God are infinite in number (Avataaraa hyasamkhyeyaah...). Some important incarnations of God, which came up to that time of composing the Bhagavatam were only mentioned as 22. Fearing for the incarnations like you, the Bhagavatam says the next verse also!

8. Idol worship:

Shri Swamiji says that the idol of Baba in His temple is not fit for worship since the idols of God in other temples are initiated with life (ritual called Praanapratishthaa). Eureka! The statues in the other temples initiated with life are moving and talking, whereas the statue of Baba is inert since this ritual was not done to it! Life initiation is not bringing even a trace of life into any statue so that it is not moving even half inch! You say that the name of Baba is not in the Vedic hymn of the ritual. Then, since names of other Gods are mentioned in the Vedic hymn and the ritual is meaningful as per your version, life must appear in those statues! But, life is not appearing in those statues as well as in these statues of Baba and so the point is uniform in all cases. In such case, criticism has no place at all due to equality of concept (inert nature) in all statues irrespective of ritual. Even in the statues of Shankara established in your asylums (maths) through this ritual, same common point of inert nature in statue exists. Is there any hymn in the Veda mentioning the name of Shankaraachaarya, who is the latest person like Baba? In fact, no Vedic hymn mentions the name of any deity in this ritual since only initiation of life is mentioned without any name (iha praanah...).

My most beloved Swamiji also says that three requirements must exist in the ritual of life-initiation: 1) Truth (Satyam) 2) Awareness (chetanaa) and 3) deservingness (yogyataa). Swamiji says that the Veda is the final authority, if I remember correctly. Can Swamiji give the Vedic quotation in support of this concept? Please. You must understand the actual intention of this ritual. If life enters the inert statue, it becomes alive human body (since most of divine statues are in human form only). This does not mean that the inert statue becomes alive human body by the ritual performed by just a human priest! The ritual does not introduce life into inert statue. It only says that this inert statue associated with life (by will of God and not by ritual) becomes the human body, which alone is the perfect medium for the entry of the God to become human incarnation for the sake of preaching the humanity (Maanushiim tanu maashritam... Gita). The Veda says that God will never enter inert statue (Natasya pratimaa...). Of course, inert statue can be worshipped by beginners as representation of God (Pratimaa hyalpa buddhiinaam...). The three words of Shri Swamiji can be interpreted in the following way to appreciate him at least in one point. If the inert statue (inert human body) becomes really (truth) alive human body by the will of God (not by ritual), such alive (awareness) human body only deserves (deservingness) to become human incarnation. Victory to Shri Swamiji for giving a good concept!

You should not argue that God entered even the inert pillar while killing demon Hiranyakashipu. If it is so, did the pillar became alive, moved and killed the demon? God entered into alive body of Narasimha (specially created for specific requirement to kill the demon) and came out of the inert pillar to kill the demon. He entered the pillar and also all the objects since Prahlada told that He is everywhere. Hence, this example is not going to affect our concept in anyway.

9. Baba is human incarnation of Datta:

Shri Swamiji has gone to such high level to say that Datta is only a sage born to sage Atri and incarnation of Datta can’t be God. This is the climax of innocence! You take the Bhagavatam as authority in deciding the incarnations of God. Same Bhagavatam says that Atri and Anasuya did lot of penance on Ruksha Mountain for the clarification of a serious Vedic doubt. The Veda says that the only Brahman is creator, ruler and destroyer of the world (yato vaa imaani...). But, Brahma as creator, Vishnu as ruler and Shiva as destroyer of this world are existing separately. This brings contradiction to the Vedic definition of God (Brahman). Then, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva appeared to whom Atri posed his doubt. All the three were united as one form with three heads fulfilling the Vedic definition. Later on, the couple got three sons: Brahma as Chandra, Vishnu as Datta and Shiva as Durvaasa. Both Chandra and Durvaasa gave their divine essence to Datta and from then Datta is one only appearing with three divine powers. This is one appearing as three forms and the union of three forms to become original one again. This is not simply the history of a sage. You are underestimating the sage. Sage is the highest spiritual soul in the entire humanity. Hence, the absolute highest God selected sage, the highest soul for His human incarnation as Lord Dattatreya. Is this appearing to you as history of sage and not as the highest spiritual knowledge of highest God?

Shri Baba appeared as Lord Dattatreya to devotees. Shri Satya Sai Baba also appeared as God Dattatreya when a photo was taken. Lord Dattatreya is very famous in doing miracles to answer atheists. Had human incarnations of God Datta like Sai Baba been absent, by this time, almost all human beings must have become atheists and Shri Swamiji will not find even a place to stand. Thus, Swamiji is cutting the branch of tree on which he is sitting.

10. Your stand damages peace of world:

My dear Swamiji! If you turn over pages of history of Hinduism itself in this country, you can find mutual killings of devotees of Shaivism and Vaishnavism. It is the total credit of Shankara, whose correlation between all the sub-religions of Hinduism established that the same one God appears in different forms with different names in different religions. Similarly, the credit of unification of religions of world goes to the first personality called as Shri Shirdi Sai Baba. Later on, the credit goes to Swami Vivekananda, Shri Satya Sai Baba etc. The inter religious conflicts are provoked by people like you, which turn to be wild flames of fire of final dissolution of humanity in the name of terrorism etc., as we here blasts of bombs and firing of guns on innocent human beings. God comes in various human forms to arrest this and bring unity in the humanity for the peaceful balance of the world. Shri Shankara was really the first incarnation of God, who came for this purpose in Hinduism. A Kaapaalika tried to kill Shankara for doing such wonderful work by performing black magic causing ‘Bhagandara’ disease! If one helps such divine programme of God, such person shall be blessed by God. If one opposes this program, such soul will fall in the liquid fire of the hell forever.

{Shri Swami told that those devotees propagating this message by E-mails or even hard copies (if necessary translating in to mother tongue), such souls shall receive the divine blessings of Lord Dattatreya through Shri Shirdi Sai Baba}

Donation to undeserving is a sin

O Learned and Devoted Servants of God,

[June 22, 2016] Anil asked: Swami! You told that donation to undeserving is a sin. Then, how to rectify the past sin done due to lack of knowledge of this concept?

Swami replied: Giving milk to a serpent is certainly a sin since it bites several good people also with the strength given by your milk. Naturally, you have to share the sin as a promoter. Four partners share the sin: actual doer, doer behind curtain, promoter and supporter (Kartaa, Kaarayitaa chaiva, prerakashcha, anumodakah...chatvaarah sama bhaaginah...). Hence, the Veda says that you should donate only after deep analysis (Samvidaa deyam). If you donate to undeserving, don’t think that simply that much money is wasted. You have actually purchased sin by that much money. It is not simple zero; it is complicated minus sign. Donation is a double edged sword. Either it gives you good result or gives you bad result. Only two options are there. There is no third neutral option of zero as wastage. The whole problem comes in being hasty to do the most dangerous donation. You are always worried about place and time, but not deservingness of receiver. “Today is Shivaratri, this place is Kashi, we are going back by tomorrow. Let us donate something to somebody today itself”—this hasty donation brings negative results. When you donate to really deserving person, that day is Shivaratri and that place is Kashi (Deshe Kaalecha Paatrecha... Gita). Krishna never donated anything to anybody. When He found Sudama (Kuchela), He donated everything to him. He was real devotee and not aspiring anything from Krishna. The Veda says that the two deserving characteristics for donation are: divine knowledge and non-aspiration of anything from you (Shrotriyasyachaakaamahatasya...).

The Veda further says that the donor should not be proud with ego and donation must be always done with lot of shy and humility (Hriyaa deyam, Bhiyaa deyam). All this creation is the wealth of God only. You are donating the wealth of God given by God to you. Sometimes, God comes straight to you as a beggar hiding His donation to you. He drops a note of Rs.100/- in your way without your knowledge. You think that you were lucky to get it and also think that since you have made effort to come by that way, you have got the reward. The truth is that you may come in anyway, God is dropping that note in your selected way only. After the note is received by you, God will come as a pitiable beggar begging for one rupee only to test your charity. Even if you recognize Him as God, if you are intelligent, you will say to the beggar “sorry, no change!” When Krishna begged for five villages only for the sake of Pandavas, blind king Dhrutarashtra told Krishna “O God! What can I do? My bloody son is not listening to me”. At the end, the king was caught in the fire of forest and prayed Lord Krishna to save him. Lord appeared and told the fire to pacify. The fire did not pacify due to the will of Lord only. Then Krishna told “O king! What can I do? This bloody red fire is not listening to Me”. God knows when, where and how to retort!

Sometimes God is totally hidden or partially hidden or totally revealing Himself. Krishna killed several demons from the birthday itself and protected all the villagers from several dangers there by revealing Himself to be God clearly. In spite of that, several Gopikas made complaints to His mother regarding His stealing butter! Jesus showed several miracles and gave excellent spiritual knowledge. In spite of this, people crucified Him. Ego and jealousy blended with blind attraction to worldly bonds surpass even the highest value of the greatest God!

Once the sin is committed, it is recorded in the file of any soul through miraculous audio-video system called Chitragupta. Due to this system, the sin appears as an audio-video cassette. There is no need of any more witness as required in our present honourable courts. The deity of justice in the hell stands with open eyes without any black cloth covering them since the deity sees directly the case and gives appropriate judgement. No witness and no lawyers are required. This divine system is extended to some extent to this world as the present audio-video technology.
The only way to escape the punishment of past sin is non-repetition of sin practically due to reformation by spiritual knowledge. Hence, if the sin is not repeated from today onwards, all the punishments of such type of sins get cancelled. But, remember that the file of the soul remains as it is since file is a record of various types of other sins also already committed. This file is called Samchita. Future punishments shall be added in this file in the name Aagami. The fruit to be enjoyed in this world itself is called as Praarabdham, which is of two types: 1) the past fruit that caused the present life and 2) the fruits of present intensive deeds (good or bad) did in this life to be enjoyed in this world itself immediately. The heaven and hell exist in the upper worlds for all normal routine deeds, but, both the heaven and hell exist here in this world also for intensive deeds.

How to get the total file destroyed so that we can escape the punishments of all our past sins computerized as various types? Deletion of one type of sins cannot bring total solution. For this, total reformation is needed so that non-repetition of all types of sins can take place. This is possible only when you enter into work of propagation of spiritual knowledge in this world. During the propagation, concepts are again and again get repeated continuously and this process of impressions on mind (Mananam) leads to digestion of concepts permanently in your brain (Nididhyaasa). The Veda says “Here, memorise and digest” (shrotavyo...). Since you are in the work of divine service of propagation of spiritual knowledge, God will order to keep your file in cold storage since the soul in the work should not be disturbed by implementation of the file. Of course, the interests are continuously added in the file. Don’t worry about this interest. Once you are totally reformed, your file, the record of principle and interest shall be burnt since there is no need of punishments if the soul is really reformed, proved by non-repetition of any type of sin from today onwards.
